The Hardwear Socks

The hardwear socks are your go-to when you’re spending the day on your feet. As an archaeologist and hiker I spend most of my day in boots. I wanted a pair of socks that had a warm, comfy woolen fit with none of the holes that plague my delicate merino yarns.

These socks are constructed with a heel-flap and gusset for added protection in the heel and a colourwork repeat along the foot to reinforce the fabric with floats.

The pattern is available in Small 7”, Medium 8”, and Large 9” sizes.

The gauge is 7 stitches per inch of knitting.
